Notebook Recovery Boot CD is designed to run automatically on NEC-CI systems with the default preload, which includes RecordNow DX or Prassi Primo DVD CD-Writing software, but it does allow the user to use other programs to create the CD.

This setup contains 2 files:

- a Prassi job file (.pxj)

- a CD-ROM image file (.iso)

If you do not have Prassi Primo DVD or RecordNow DX installed, it is not possible to use the job file (.pxj) feature. These 2 programs are pre-installed on systems sold with our products that have a built-in CD Writer.

You can use the CD image file (.iso) by opening it in another CD-burning program or by trying the 'look for other CD-burning program' option.
