Exam Browser is an application that is used to open a test page so that students cannot open other applications even just for internet surfing that may lead to cheating.

In order to use the app, you have to first specify a password, and then press the "RUN" button. Once you've pressed the "RUN" button, you will be unable to browse any new websites from your browser, as you will be presented with the same error message you'd receive when without an Internet signal, or when using site banning tools.
