If you want to listen to music the old-fashioned way, through the tracks saved in your PC, rather than having to use the internet, there are multiple programs that can help you with this.

One program that I would not recommend, though, is Musiko. Even though it has a fairly cool looking interface, its functionality is a bit lacking.

Well, it plays music without delays or any interference. Also, it shows you the album cover of the song while it is playing.

If you are having issues trying to find a track, it has an inbuilt search function. You just need to write down any word from the name of the title, artist or album, and it will find it for you.

Also, if you want to listen to a certain genre, or to music released by a certain person or band, it also offers a filter option.

First of all, you only have one way of adding songs to the player. You need to reach the Settings menu and select a music folder from where it should get the tracks. It would've been so much easier if you could simply drag and drop files.

And even when you do select the folder, it does not always show you everything that is in it. In my case, I selected a folder with over a dozen multimedia files, but the player only displayed two in the playlist.

Also, for a program that is meant to play music, you would expect it to have an equalizer or anything that would allow you to change the way it sounds. Instead, the Settings menu only allows you to change 3 things, and none of them are sound-related.

Overall, the program isn't good. It seems kind of promising when you first look at the player, but after a few minutes of using Musiko Keygen you will likely be left disappointed.
