GMAT AWA Simulator is an open-source, Java-based GMAT (Graduate Management Admission Test) test simulator, which is built to help users improve their analytical writing assessment skills.

This GMAT test preparation app comes with a wealth of available topics which allow students to test and verify their analytical thinking. Topics are separated in two categories: topics and issues. These topics confront students with situations similar to events in real life and test the way they reason with contexts like these, while keeping an analytical mindset.

The test layout is pretty simple. Users can select specific topics or choose them randomly or based on some keywords. The testing window is separated in two sections, one which holds the text generated by the program, and the second which must contain the student's work.
